Re: Officiating 10L
The YRHS and GSSD are pleased to announce that as of July 2019, the Ministry of Education has approved "Officiating 10L" as a locally developed course to be offered for the fall of 2019-20. This course will allow students the opportunity to become a certified hockey official.
Because approval of the course was confirmed over the summer months, the course did not appear on the 2019-20 registration form. The YRHS Administration will be taking steps to allow as many students as possible to access this class during Semester One of the 2019-20 school year. Upon the commencement of school, interested students will be invited to participate in an 'Officiating 10L Information Session.' During this meeting, the course description and time slot will be presented to all interested students in grades 10-12.
